I received a comment refering to the Presidential Pay commission which was commissioned to look into issues of remuneration of public servants. The work included establishing clear guidelines for the use of allowances with a view of removing the existing distortions.
The work was commissioned in May 2006. It was completed in December 2006 and reported in January 2007. The report is claimed to be a quality piece of work, but to date, 978 days after its completion, nothing has been heard of it.
